Home Novostrojevo (Shelter for Children)

The first shelter to receive support from projekt Anna.

This home provides temporary care for approximately 25 children originating from dysfunctional families. Prior to her adoption, Anna Staltmaier was a resident of this home.

Since 2005, projekt Anna provides the children with the daily necessities, such as school supplies, clothing, shoes and educational toys. We purchase the requisite items locally following on-site consultation with the supervisor of the home.

The children receive Christmas gifts from us each year.

The funding used for renovating and equipping the kitchen in 2007 was donated mainly by Children for a Better World and by the Swiss Re program “Dollars4Doers”.

At the request of the supervisor of the home, we financed fencing for the premises. This was our very first project.
